In 2002 Manitou (UK) Ltd. Celebrated 30 years of excellence in the U.K. and Ireland. Today the company offers over 150 dealer outlets nationwide with a dedicated team of Sales, Parts and Service Personnel operating from the Head Office in Verwood, Dorset.

Some Highlights ….

1972 - Manitou (Site Lift) Limited formed - the first overseas subsidiary of the Manitou   company.  A depot was opened at Avenger Close in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire.

1975 - Manitou (Site Lift) Ltd relocates to Mayflower Close,  Chandlers Ford

1979 - MB25P wins R.A.S.E. Silver Medal

1980 - Relocation of company to the current site at Ebblake Industrial Estate in Verwood, Dorset

1986 - Celebration of 10,000 Manitou sales in the UK and Ireland1990

1990  - R.A.S.E. Silver Medal awarded to MLT626T

1993 - SED Silver Medal awarded to MT1530 SCP

1994 - MLT523/526 wins Royal Agricultural Society of Scotland Silver Medal

1997 - Celebration of 25 years of Manitou in UK and Irelan

2000 - RASE Silver Medal awarded to MLT634 TLSU 120 Powershift

2005 - Manitou UK Ltd adopted as new company name

2006 - MLT625T Manihoe wins the Royal Agricultural Society of Scotland Silver Medal
